Nephrology Web Episode - The Kidney Biopsy!

The monthly nephrology webisode from the Wash U Nephrology Series is back with another history lesson.  This video focuses on the history of the percutaneous kidney biopsy and its evolution from the 1950s to today.  Check it out below!

There is also a supplemental demonstration video this month showing you the anatomy of the original needles and comparing it to the modern spring-loaded devices.  You can watch me attempt to biopsy the cortex of an orange with variable success.
